The basics
- Issuer
- VanEck
- Asset class
- Global shares
- Number of holdings
- ~50
- Where it invests
- 100% India.
- Income paid
- Annually
- Currency hedged
- No — It's unhedged, so for an Australian investor the value also moves with the Australian dollar against the Indian rupee, on top of the shares themselves.
Its character
A single-country India fund spread fairly evenly across around 50 companies, tilted toward industrials, banks and materials. A direct bet on one of the faster-growing large economies — and a brand-new fund.
What to keep in mind
A single-country fund concentrated in India, exposed to that one economy, its politics and currency. Launched in 2025, it has very little track record. Unhedged, so the rupee's moves against the Australian dollar feed through.
