Its character
A focus on Australia's 'mid caps' — companies ranked roughly 51st to 100th by size — so it deliberately skips the giant banks and miners at the very top and the small companies at the bottom, giving a different flavour from a top-200 fund.
What to keep in mind
Mid-sized companies can grow faster but also swing more than the market giants, and at 50 holdings it's fairly concentrated. Still all-Australian, so it moves with the local market.
Income
Distributions can carry franking credits from the Australian companies it holds.
